amœba ‘ME MYSELF & EYE’ produced by Christiane Hapt

Christiane shares her personal reappraisal of an eye disease that has accompanied her since 2021. Need for help and vulnerability are not exactly the characteristics that are often seen in a circus artist, but they are in us, and Christiane shows her (blurred) view of them in amœba. Using object manipulation and video art, this contemporary circus piece deals with perseverance and resignation in the process of recovery.
