amœba ‘ME MYSELF & EYE’ produced by Christiane Hapt

Christiane shares her personal reprocessing of an eye disease that has accompanied her since 2021. Vulnerability is not exactly the characteristic that is often seen in a circus artist, but it is in us, and Christiane shows her (blurred) view of it in amœba. Using exquisit object manipulation and video projection, the topics of perseverance, resignation and loss of sight are negotiated on stage in an intimate and virtuoso way.
